Valentine’s Day is around the corner, and what better way to celebrate love than by indulging

in delicious treats? It’s a time to show appreciation and care for the special people in our

lives, and this year, the Enviro Club combined the sweetness of the day with the joy of

fundraising.

Why Are They Fundraising?

The members of the Enviro Club are passionate about protecting the environment, both in

and outside of the classroom. However, to carry out their projects, they rely on the support of

the school community to raise funds. The proceeds from the cake sale will directly support

future outings and activities aimed at promoting environmental awareness and sustainability.

What’s on the Menu?

These goodies weren’t just a treat for the taste buds but also a feast for the eyes. Each cake

was lovingly baked by a club member, offering a variety of flavours to satisfy every craving.

Picture this: rich, moist chocolate cakes topped with velvety chocolate frosting, and decadent

red velvet cakes, perfect for celebrating the season of love. Every bite was guaranteed to be

as sweet as the day itself.

But it wasn’t just about taste! The club members also ensured that the treats were beautifully

decorated to capture the Valentine’s spirit. Whether they were gifted to a friend, a loved one,

or enjoyed as a personal treat, these cakes added a little extra sweetness to the day.

"Bead My Valentine" Activity

Alongside the cake sale, the club hosted a special "Bead My Valentine" activity, giving everyone the chance to get creative and craft something meaningful for their loved ones.

Whether a seasoned jewellery maker or simply looking for a fun and unique activity, participants had the perfect opportunity to add a personal touch to their Valentine’s Day gifts.

Participants designed their own unique jewellery pieces—bracelets, necklaces, earrings, or

even keychains—using a variety of beads and materials. Beyond just creating jewellery, this

activity allowed students to explore their creativity while making thoughtful, handcrafted

gifts for someone special.

Creating handmade jewellery was a heartfelt way to express love and appreciation, perfectly

aligning with the Enviro Club's values of meaningful, sustainable gifting. With beads in hand and creativity flowing, participants beaded their way to a memorable pre-Valentine’s

celebration!

In Conclusion

The cake sale and bead-making activity wouldn’t have been possible without the hard work

of the club members, teachers, and volunteers who came together to make it happen. Whether seeking a sweet treat or a personalised gift, the Enviro Club’s Valentine’s Day event

provided the perfect opportunity to spread love and joy.
